  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by law.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our platform
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service without our written permission
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the platform
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code through the ZIP upload or any other feature
  • Use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm other users or DayZ players
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits that impact service performance for other users

5. Your Data & Server Files

You own your data. All server configuration files, project data, and content you upload remain your property. We claim no ownership or intellectual property rights over your files.
  • You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of server files. While we provide version history and snapshot features, these are provided as a convenience and not a guaranteed backup solution.
  • You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your files solely for the purpose of providing the service.
  • We do not access, review, or analyze your files for any purpose other than providing the service and debugging issues you report to us.
  • When you delete a project, we delete all associated files and version history from our systems.

6. Server Credentials & Access

  • You are solely responsible for the SFTP credentials, RCON passwords, and API tokens you provide to our platform.
  • By providing server credentials, you represent that you have authorization to access and modify files on that server.
  • We are not responsible for any damage, data loss, or server issues resulting from configuration changes you make through our editors.
  • You should always review changes (using the diff viewer) before pushing files to a live server.
  • We strongly recommend stopping your DayZ server before pushing file changes, as the platform prompts you to do.

7. OMEGA Agent

The OMEGA Agent is an optional companion application you may install on your server machine:

  • The Agent is provided "as is" and runs with the permissions of the user account that installs it.
  • The Agent communicates with our platform over HTTPS and executes commands you initiate from the browser.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the Agent is installed on machines you own or have authorization to manage.
  • We are not responsible for server downtime, crashes, or data loss resulting from Agent operations (server restarts, mod updates, file synchronization).
  • You may uninstall the Agent at any time.

8. Player Data & Analytics

OMEGATECH DayZ Editor's Player Analytics features process data from your DayZ server logs (ADM logs, Expansion logs, players.db):

  • This data originates from your server and is processed solely for your use.
  • Player data (Steam IDs, in-game names, IP addresses) is visible only to authorized users of your project.
  • You are responsible for complying with any applicable data protection laws regarding the player data on your servers.
  • We do not share player analytics data across different users or projects unless you explicitly enable cross-server features (such as shared ban lists).

9. Teams & Shared Access (Enterprise)

  • Project owners are responsible for managing team member access and permissions.
  • The "no-export" permission restriction is a UI-level control. While we enforce it in our interface, we cannot guarantee that authorized team members won't capture screen content or memorize configurations.
  • You are responsible for revoking access when team members leave your organization.

10. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service, with reasonable advance notice when possible.
  • We are not liable for service interruptions caused by factors outside our control (internet outages, hosting provider issues, DDoS attacks, DayZ game updates).
  • During outages, your server files remain on your server — OMEGATECH DayZ Editor is an editing and management layer, not a hosting provider (unless you subscribe to a hosting add-on).

11. Intellectual Property

  • The OMEGATECH DayZ Editor platform, its design, code, and branding are the intellectual property of OMEGATECH.
  • DayZ is a trademark of Bohemia Interactive. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bohemia Interactive.
  • Mod names referenced in our platform (Expansion, TraderPlus, Dr. Jones, etc.) are the property of their respective creators.
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform code or design without written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • OMEGATECH DayZ Editor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • We are not liable for data loss, server crashes, or configuration errors resulting from use of our editors, even if caused by a bug in our software.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • You acknowledge that DayZ server configuration is complex and that you should always verify changes before deploying to a live server.

13. Termination

  • By you: You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time.
  • By us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with notice when reasonably possible. In case of severe violations (security threats, abuse), we may act immediately.
  • Upon termination, your access to the platform ends. You should export your project files before cancellation.
  • We will delete your data within 30 days of account deletion, except where retention is required by law.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the English language.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
